I have had these links to these articles (Below) here for at least 3 yrs now and I knew that the HSUS could be very dangerous to breeders of all sorts but recently right after a man loosed his wildlife( lions, tigers, bears and wolves)10/19/2011 on his farm in Zanesville, Ohio, all owners of non-domestic became very worried of the repercussions of what this man did. Now I know unfortunately they were well founded fears of the Savannah breeders who own African Servals like myself. December 16th 2011( on my deceased son's birthday) HSUS raided my mini-farm and with thier usual use of the media( the media capitalizes on sensationalism by exagerating and even lying), exagerated conditions and seized all of my felines and canines. I unfortunately had helped a former breeder who was sick with a brain lesion by taking a sick litter(coccidiosis and upper respiratory) for her to get well and help her sell. Her estranged husband who she is divorcing called the HSUS on me as revenge for helping her. Unfortunately some of my own kittens had contracted Coccidiosis as it is very contagious and I was battling this with the drug ponazuril(which I had left over from treating her kittens). All of the kittens began to respond except for the runt of the litter. I took this one to the Vet and she was there for 3 days and passed away( HSUS said by Starvation but it was Dehydration due to diarrhea). HSUS assisted by the Davie County Sheriff Dept. charged me with a felony for this kitten dying and for the other kittens sharing the same quarantine room 18 counts of misdemenor cruelty due to high ammonia levels and one polydactyl cat with an ingrown claw( I never saw it myself) . I had been sick myself with the flu so yes the litter boxes had not been changed in 3 days but then it was the extreme diarrhea that has cause the mess and smell. Really it could happen to anyone but the timing of the occurance was most unfortunate for me. Believe me, because of the links on this page to the educating articles about the real HSUS and the fact I owned an African Serval is th reason I was targeted in this raid...I've been on thier LIST for a while. Please concider donating to my Legal Defence Fund as I do have a Great Attorney, but he is Expensive and I do need help. I do not know what they will do with my beloved animals but HSUS history showes that they often put the animals down, kill them. Please call and adopt my animals so they have a chance, I love them more than I can explain here...they brought me such comfort when first my childhood sweetheart husband died when I was 28 yrs old and then again when my 17 yr old son died 10 years ago... they shouldn't be punished by being euthenized by the HSUS, please concider helping.
